Woods Architecture

Founded with a vision to create meaningful, innovative, and sustainable spaces, Woods Architecture has grown into a full-service, award-winning architectural and design firm recognized for excellence across diverse industries. From the beginning, our mission has been to combine creative design, technical expertise, and exceptional client service to deliver environments that positively impact communities and inspire future generations.

Over the years, Woods Architecture has expanded from a small design practice into a nationally respected firm with six offices and seven specialized practice areas. Through continuous growth and dedication, we have successfully completed more than 3,000 projects, ranging from museums, arts centres, and educational facilities to corporate headquarters, laboratories, multifamily housing, government buildings, and large-scale urban developments.

Our development has been driven by a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals including registered architects, interior designers, urban planners, materials specialists, cost estimators, and zoning experts. This collaborative approach has allowed us to provide comprehensive services that cover every phase of a project — from master planning and programming to architectural design, construction administration, and facility management support.

Innovation and sustainability have remained central to our evolution. Since the early 1990s, Woods Architecture has actively integrated sustainable practices into every stage of design and construction. Our commitment to environmental responsibility led us to become one of the first architectural firms in the country to adopt The 2030 Challenge, supporting the global effort to significantly reduce building energy consumption and create a healthier future for generations to come.

Throughout our journey, Woods Architecture has earned more than 200 prestigious awards and industry recognitions, including national distinctions such as R&D Magazine Laboratory of the Year Awards and multiple AIA Honor Awards for Excellence in Architecture. These achievements reflect our ongoing dedication to design excellence, innovation, and creating spaces that enhance the lives of those who use them.

Today, Woods Architecture continues to evolve by embracing modern technologies, sustainable solutions, and forward-thinking design strategies while remaining committed to the core values that have defined our success for decades: creativity, integrity, collaboration, and exceptional service
